The Abilene Music Awards "Beltin' It Out For The Boys" is the fundraising event that everyone talks about! The event features local celebrities performing their favorite songs with support from Mark Powell and his band. Proceeds directly benefit Ben Richey Boys Ranch & Family Program and its mission to provide hope and healing to children and families!
Vance Long is a Geologist for WaterBridge and a veteran AMA performer returning to the stage with his sons, Rush and Jett. Vance has been married to Connie (aka the "Willie" to "Vance and The Boys") for 30 years. Rush Long is a teacher at Texas Leadership Charter Academy in Abilene. Jett Long is attending Abilene Christian University studying sports training. They enjoy singing together and playing golf! Vance says, "We're excited to raise money for the Ranch this year because it is an amazing organization with a great cause, and Mark Powell is an incredibly talented advocate. Plus, it’s gonna be a lot of fun!"
